if the relevant section is operative.
Material damage cover extensions
Exhibitions cover, moulds, tools and dies, faulty or defective workmanship, operational errors and omissions, seasonal increase in stock, non-ferrous metal, environmentally conscious replacement. As well as optional cover for metal workers and molten material breakout. Variable limits apply.
Business interruption cover extensions
Unspecified customers/suppliers, exhibition sites, property stored and property in transit, moulds, tools and dies, faulty or defective workmanship, operational errors and omissions, research and design, fines and damages. Variable limits apply.
Complimentary goods in transit
To protect your customer’s own goods within their own vehicles - up to £5,000 per vehicle and up to five vehicles (UK only). Additional cover can be purchased as optional.
Public liability and products liability cover extensions
Liability for the spread of legionella bacteria, first party pollution clean-up costs, first party product recall expenses. Variable limits apply.
Business
Travel
Complimentary medical expenses and associated covers - up to 30 trips, £1,000,000. Customers can purchase additional cover if requested.
Employer's liability
cover extensions
Complimentary personal accident cover, up to £10,000 for an accidental injury sustained at work, resulting in either death or disablement.
Our appetite for Metalworking and Precision Engineering
We prefer businesses that:
- have high levels of automation
- have purpose-built premises
- have limited public exposure to fork-lift or pallet trucks
- have non-combustible constructions and appropriate levels of fire protection and security
- are members of relevant trade associations.
