Cover for your customers' needs
In addition to the standard cover provided by our commercial combined product (Commercial Select), Wholesale & Retail provides a range of tailored cover extensions which are automatically included if the relevant section is operative.
Property Damage
Cover for exhibition sites, seasonal stock increases, temporary locations, and trade samples. Variable limits apply.
Business Interruption
Cover for exhibition sites, unspecified customers and suppliers, PR and reputation costs . Variable limits apply.
Goods in Transit
Cover for your customer’s own goods within their own vehicles, up to £5,000 per vehicle and up to five vehicles (UK only).
Public Liability and Products Liability
- Protection including personal accident assault cover for employees, first-party product recall for qualifying businesses, and products financial loss. Variable limits apply.
Personal Accident
- Up to £10,000 for an accidental injury sustained at work, resulting in either death or disablement.
Employers’ Liability
Personal Assault cover up to £10,000, and psychological support - up to eight sessions of treatment following an Injury to an Employee.
Our appetite for Wholesale and Retail
We prefer businesses that have:
- purpose-built premises with fixed heating
- limited public exposure to fork-lift or pallet trucks.
- non-combustible construction and appropriate levels of fire protection and security
- membership of relevant trade associations
- comprehensive business continuity planning
- wholesale premises that are solely occupied by the policyholder
