Cover for your customers' needs
In addition to the standard cover provided by our commercial combined product (Commercial Select), Manufacturing provides a range of tailored cover extensions which are automatically included if the relevant section is operative.
Property Damage
Includes cover for moulds, tools and dies, faulty or defective workmanship, operational errors and omissions, environmentally conscious replacements, and 25% seasonal stock increases. Variable limits apply.
Business interruption
Research and development costs, faulty or defective workmanship, operational errors and omissions, and unspecified customers and suppliers. Variable limits apply.
Goods in transit
Cover for your customer's own goods within their own vehicles, up to £5,000 per vehicle and up to five vehicles (UK only).
Public liability and Products Liability
Pollution clean-up costs, product recall, and products financial loss. Variable limits apply
Reputation Management
Public relations costs up to £25,000 to help protect your customer's reputation following an insured event. Available under Business Interruption, Public and Products Liability, and Employer’s liability
Employer's liability
Employment related accident benefits including Accidental Bodily Injury, first aid expenses and psychological support for employees. Variable limits apply.
Our appetite for General Manufacturing
We prefer businesses that:
- purpose-built premises with fixed heating
- limited public exposure to fork-lift or pallet trucks.
- non-combustible construction and appropriate levels of fire protection and security
- membership of relevant trade associations
- comprehensive business continuity planning
- wholesale premises that are solely occupied by the policyholder
