Allianz appoints new Managing
Director for Personal Lines

Serge Raffard has been with Allianz since 2018 and is currently the group strategy, marketing, distribution officer and prior to this he was group strategy officer. In his time at Allianz, he has successfully led the development and roll-out of the company strategy and pushed the Allianz brand to become the world’s number one insurer in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands Ranking.

Prior to joining Allianz, he worked at a number of other companies including MetLife, McKinsey and JPMorgan.

Commenting on his appointment, Colm Holmes CEO of Allianz Holdings, said: “Serge is a fantastic addition to my leadership team and I have no doubt the expertise and experience he has brought to Allianz will aid our future success.

His significant insight, knowledge and successful campaigns engaging with Allianz customers globally as well as in the UK will be an asset to us. His expertise means he’s in an excellent position to ensure we remain one of the best loved customer focused brands in the UK and maintain our position as a leading personal lines insurer.”

Serge’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
