If you'd like to make changes with effect from the renewal date, then please select the 'renewal, make changes' tile and you can make your changes there. Make sure you save any changes you make. 

Make a claim

You don't need to contact us if you need to make a window or windscreen claim. You can get in touch with our recommended windscreen repairers directly. And don't worry, windscreen claims don't impact your no claim discount. Please note your excess will apply.

If you have breakdown cover with your Allianz Car Insurance, we're here to help 24/7. Our breakdown cover is provided by Britannia Rescue, so if you've broken down and need our help, please visit Britannia Rescue and we'll take it from there.

First things first, make sure you and your passengers are safe - your claim doesn't need to be reported to us immediately.

Once you're comfortable, you'll need to:

  • Take note of the time, date and location.
  • Make a record of what happened.
  • Get names and contact details of the other driver(s) and any witnesses.
  • Write down the licence plates of the other cars involved.
  • Take pictures of any damage.
  • Note down any injuries.

You'll need to call the police if:

  • The other driver(s) left the scene without providing their details.
  • You suspect the other driver(s) may have caused intentional damage.
  • You think the other driver(s) could be uninsured.
  • You have reason to believe the other driver(s) is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Then, give our claims team a call on:  0330 678 5557 at any time.

Due to the fault highlighted by Citroen, and the stop-drive order they’ve implemented, we now believe the affected cars are no longer roadworthy and shouldn’t be driven.

We may be unable to handle any claims relating to your car if it’s deemed unroadworthy, and any vehicle subject to a stop-drive order may fail its MOT if required repairs aren’t completed.

While your car isn’t drivable, we can cancel your car insurance policy with no charge or downgrade your policy to a lower level of cover where available, until you can drive it again.
