The site was launched on 27th October 2022 and can now be used by all musicians looking to start the search for their lost or stolen instrument. You don't have to be a customer of Allianz Musical Insurance in order to list a missing musical instrument, or report one as found.
Create a missing instrument listing
Lost and found instrument listings include details on material, colour, unique markings, serial number, and a description on how the instrument was lost or stolen - providing the musicians community with as much information as possible to help with recovery.
Missing Instruments Finder encourages users of the site to help out fellow musicians by providing any information they may have on a missing instrument listing. Musicians will be notified if their instrument is found, or if any information has been provided by another user - helping musicians to locate their instrument and get back to playing as soon as possible.
Search the database
The online platform can also give peace of mind to musicians looking to invest in a second-hand instrument - allowing them to search the database to check that the instrument they are looking to purchase has not been stolen.
