Our corporate charity in the UK is the children’s charity Barnardo's, who are dedicated to help improve the lives of children, young people and their families.
Our employees run, walk, cycle, bake and do a variety of activities to help raise valuable funds for our charity partner – and then Allianz matches the donation.
Young people facing disadvantage have experienced huge employment challenges through the pandemic, which has been further exacerbated by the current cost-of-living crisis.
Today, over 300,000 young people in the UK do not have basic digital skills and 770,000 young people aged 16 – 24 are classed as NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training); unable to get a job; or are trapped in an unbreakable cycle of disadvantage, isolation and poor mental health.
With the right support and opportunities to excel, these children can develop and build long-term careers. Together we will enable thousands of young people, classed as NEET to live, learn and work.
