We ensure our products are clearly explained and honestly marketed so our customers and their broker partners can make informed decisions and choose solutions that are relevant to them. 

• We also develop our global products to ensure they support a low-carbon society and social inclusion.
• In 2021, Allianz had over 162 sustainable insurance solutions globally including our products in the UK covering renewable energy installments.
• Globally we support emerging customers through our micro insurance products, giving protection to 62.2 million customers in 2021, in the poorest 60% of developing countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

We work together with our suppliers to promote and enhance sustainability and diversity within our procurement activities and supply chain. The Allianz Sustainable Procurement Charter lays out our future Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) objectives, ensures our tender processes contribute to achieving net zero as well as including social and economic wellbeing considerations. We also work with our suppliers and support them in their own net zero journey through education.

Our Vendor Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards expected by our vendors, referencing external accreditations and is based on national laws, regulations and international conventions. Our Vendor Integrity Screening has also been strengthened to include enhanced consideration of our ethical work principles and the environmental impact of our supplier relationships.
