"Despite the challenges of teams moving to work from home, and a huge influx of new claims and enquiries, the Allianz property claims team continued to provide their usual excellent service.

Our special handlers were available to answer any queries regarding cover and policy response in respect of new claims, along with providing a quick turnaround between receiving a new claim and appointment of loss adjusters.

Claims were settled quickly where payments were due, in fact many policyholders were delighted with the service and have gone on to share details with business associates, resulting in a number of new enquiries.

"A garage was struggling to source a replacement Mazda car part as a result of the lockdown.  We contacted our salvage partner and were able to offer our policyholder an equivalent green part and the repair took place within the normal timescales despite the difficult operating environment."
