Competing teams:
Allianz Cup
The Allianz Cup kicked-off in 2021, featuring the same ten teams playing in the Allianz PWR. The teams are placed into two pools, based on their final standings in the previous PWR season.
Each team will then play two home, and two away games against the other teams within their pool. The top two teams within their pools then progress to the semi-finals, and then final where the successful team will become champions.
The Cup will allow more squad players within the PWR teams to get some game time, as there are no pauses for international breaks or competitions.

Allianz Inner Warrior

The grassroots programme, Allianz Inner Warrior, encourages girls and women into sport through community rugby. The programme is a series of rugby fitness training camps that are run by clubs across the country. Designed to introduce rugby to those who have never played before and a chance to try a new sport, and to help clubs recruit players in to their women’s clubs. Since its creation 3 years ago, over 20,000 women across the country have attended Inner Warrior camps.
We see the numbers of viewers and participants of women's rugby at grassroots and league level increasing and we want to be there supporting the next generation of female sporting stars. Supporting Allianz Inner Warrior allows us and the RFU to increase awareness and interest in the sport, and allows there to be a future talent pipeline. From women and girls taking part in Allianz Inner Warrior it opens up future talent and players for Allianz Premier 15s, and even England Red Roses. We want to support the whole journey of players.
