Terms and Conditions for the Second Allianz Car Insurance Prize Draw 

1. The promoter of this prize draw is Allianz which is a trading name of Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Limited and whose registered office is at 57 Ladymead, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1DB (the “Promoter”). 

2. An eligible entrant is aged 18 years old or over and is a UK resident. Eligible entrants must have completed the purchase of a second Allianz Car Insurance policy directly and only online from Allianz Insurance (www.allianz.co.uk), formerly known as Flow insurance, during the Promotional period. Proof of identity and age may be required. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.

3. To enter the prize draw, entrants must already have an existing Allianz Car Insurance policy in place:  

(a) which is valid for at least another six weeks prior to its expiry date at the time of purchasing the second Allianz annual motor insurance policy; and 

(b)  an Eligible entrant will be the named policyholder for both the first and second Allianz Car Insurance policy; and 

(c) Both the first and second Allianz Car Insurance policy must be registered at the same address and with the same email address/account. 

Individuals who are named on a policy but are not the policyholder are not eligible to enter the prize draw. (“Eligible Entrants”). 

4. All Allianz Car Insurance policies are subject to and issued in accordance with the Promoter’s underwriting eligibility criteria.

5. The prize draw will take place 3 months from the end of the month in which the second Allianz policy was incepted. Eligible Entrants will automatically be entered into the prize draw, provided the second Allianz policy is still in force. The opening date for entries is 00:01am on the 1st day of each month, and the closing date for entries is 23:59pm on the last day of every month (“Promotional Period”). The prize draw is run monthly and the Promotional Period dates are subject to change by the Promoter every calendar month. 

6. Entry is free and no purchase is required. 

7. The winner will win £150. 

8. One winner will be chosen at random by the Promoter within 120 days of the closing date of the prize draw by the Promoter, from all of the valid entries received during the Promotional Period. The closing date of the prize draw is the last day of the Promotional Period month that Eligible Entrants choose to purchase their second policy. 

9. All employees of the Promoter, and their respective subsidiaries and associated companies, their immediate families and anyone involved in the promotion of the prize draw, including any printers and agents, suppliers of the prize and any other companies associated with the prize draw, are excluded from entry. 

10. The prize draw is not open to individuals who purchase their second Allianz Car Insurance policy on a price comparison website or via a link on a price comparison website.

11. Only one entry per eligible policy may be made per person. The Promoter will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. 

12. Prizes shall be awarded at the Promoter’s discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the prize draw, it reserves the right to refuse to award any prize. The winner will be confirmed by email within 140 days of the end of the Promotional Period and failure to provide accurate contact details may result in disqualification from this prize draw. The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner up to four times over a period of 14 days. If they cannot be contacted within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer that prize to the next Eligible Entrant drawn at random.

13. No responsibility is accepted for lost entries, delayed entries or mis-transmitted entries. 

14. The Promoter reserves the right to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place for the prize draw. 

15. The winner’s name will be made available upon request within 3 months of the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Second Allianz Car Insurance Prize Draw, Marketing, 57 Ladymead, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1DB. If you object to any or all of your surname, name, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter prior to the last day of the month your second policy is incepted. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

16. Winners will participate in all required publicity and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and photos of winners in post event publications and on the Promoter’s website and/or social media sites. Winners will reasonably cooperate with all required publicity as a result of winning. 

17. If you object to any or all of your details (in accordance with clause 15 above) surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter prior to the last day of the month your second policy is incepted.

18. Notwithstanding Clause 16 above, the winners’ details and winning entries (if applicable) must be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

19. Prizes are as stated and are subject to availability. In the event of any prize being unavailable for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The Promoter is not responsible for the quality of any goods or services supplied. 

20. All prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming the prize.  Prizes may be taxable and the winner will be responsible for any tax arising. 

21. All prizes will be sent to the winner no less than 4 months after the second policy is incepted,  as long as valid contact details are provided.

22. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  The Promoter further reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the prize draw where necessary to do so. 

23. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. Contact information about entrants is collected by the Promoter in order to contact them about the promotion and to award prizes. 

24. This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with  Facebook or X (formerly known as Twitter) or Instagram. Eligible Entrants understand and agree that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not Facebook or X or Instagram. By entering this prize draw, each Eligible Entrant releases Facebook or X or Instagram from any action or claim arising out of the prize draw. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this prize draw must be directed to the Promoter, not Facebook or X or Instagram.

25. By entering into the prize draw, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.

27. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

28. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability.
