Allianz UK ‘Hello Future You’ Event at the Allianz Stadium
As part of the global Allianz All Together initiative bringing local communities together for unforgettable experiences in our family of stadiums, Allianz UK had the pleasure of hosting #HelloFutureYou, an event for 200 young people and support staff from our charity partner, Barnardo’s and The Hebe Foundation at the Allianz Stadium.
They were invited on 18 November 2025 to attend workshops including networking skills, building a personal brand, interview readiness, CV writing, and insights into work in transformation, tech and data roles. These workshops aimed to develop personal skills and build confidence and resilience to help the young people secure work in the future.
As an added bonus, they were also given a tour of the Allianz Stadium, accessing areas you wouldn’t normally see on a match day and going the behind the scenes where only the players and officials are normally allowed.
50 incredible volunteers from across Allianz UK showed the young people around the stadium, coached them in the sessions and facilitated the training. This was a brilliant opportunity for our volunteers and the young people to help each other to also understand more about the work of the charity Barnardo’s.
It was a large scale event, in fact it's the biggest Barnardo's have ever been part of with a corporate partner. Feedback from #HelloFutureYou has been overwhelmingly positive and according to Barnardo's this kind of encouragement and inspiration will in some cases even be life changing.
A parent of young person attending the event told us:
"The 'networking' workshop was her favourite, where she was speed networking with the Allianz organisers and learning how best to communicate with different people from different backgrounds. As a parent, I saw the difference from her first interaction to her last; her confidence grew, she was more self-assured and had a distinct flair about herself!"
Comments from young people who joined us:
"I learned a lot about how to overcome interviews and to write a proper CV and that the Allianz stadium is really cool"
"It was good because I experienced new things that I haven't seen before"
