Allianz Online car insurance
An Allianz Online policy is online-only, which means you manage it yourself in your account.
Not sure which policy you have? The car insurance tile in your Allianz account will have an ‘Allianz Online’ badge in the top right.
Your policy number will start with FL.
Allianz car insurance
Our other type of policy is simply called Allianz – it comes with call centre support and the ability to do certain things online.

Your policy number will start with a 2 or 3. These were LV= policies before March 2026.

If your policy number starts with FL, you can only call us about a claim. You manage everything else yourself in your online account.

If your claim is for glass only (windows and windscreens) you don’t need to contact us. Just get in touch with our recommended windscreen repairers directly.
Book an appointment now or call 0330 678 5590.
A glass-only claim won’t affect your no claim discount but you will have to pay your windscreen excess – you’ll find this in your policy documents.

If nobody’s been injured and your vehicle hasn’t been stolen, simply log in to your account and select ‘make a claim’.
If another vehicle was involved or someone was injured (or you’d prefer to call) please see ‘all other car claims’ below.
