You're in complete control of your Allianz Online Car Insurance, so you can make changes, update or check on your policy, 24/7.

First things first, make sure you and your passengers are safe - your claim doesn't need to be reported to us immediately.

Once you're comfortable, you'll need to:

  • Take note of the time, date and location
  • Make a record of what happened
  • Get names and contact deails of the other driver(s) and any witnesses
  • Write down the licence plates of the other cars involved
  • Take pictures of any damage
  • Note down any injuries

You'll need to call the police if:

  • The other driver(s) left the scene without providing their details
  • You suspect the other driver(s) may have caused intentional damage
  • You think the other driver(s) could be uninsured
  • You have reason to beliece the other driver(s) if under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Yes, we'll cover you for business use excluding commercial travelling. You can add this cover through your Allianz account.

Simply click:

  • your car
  • make changes
  • edit car and cover.

You'll need to check your certificate of insurance in your Allianz account for this information.

Firstly, you'll need to make sure you have confirmation from the DVLA that the registration is officially matched to your car. Once this is done, you can update your registration plate in your Allianz account.

Remember, if the DVLA hasn't processed the change, and you change your registration plate on your Allianz Online Car Insurance policy, your cover could be cancelled.

Simply click:

Once your cover is set up, you can't change your start date. If you need your policy to start on a different date, the easiest thing to do is cancel your existing policy and set up a new one with the correct start date.

If your cover hasn't started yet, you won't be charged for this, however your policy price may change. If your cover has already started, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

You can do this in your Allianz account at any time.

You can change or update your payment details online at any time.

If you've missed a payment because the card registered has expired or been blocked, you'll need to make a manual payment.

Simply log in to your Allianz account and selct the 'Payment' tab where you'll be able to make this change and select 'pay now'.
