Step 1: Get to know your cover

Before you start your claim, have a look through your policy so you know exactly what’s covered and what’s not.

Make sure you have what you need:

  • As many details as possible about the things you’re claiming for
  • Your police incident number, if you have one

Step 2: Start your claim

There are three ways you can make a claim.

We’ll go through the details with you and take care of your claim over the phone. We're open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and on Saturday 9am to 1pm.

24 hour home emergency assistance

If you’ve added 24 hour home emergency assistance to your insurance and need help right away, call our emergency helpline on 0208 603 9439.

We’ll talk you through what to do, send a qualified contractor out to fix the problem and put you up in a hotel for the night if you can’t stay at home.


Step 3: We'll take it from there

Once you've started your claim, we'll take care of it all as quickly as we can.

If you claimed online or with our app, we'll call you within one working day to check the details and talk you through what happens next. After that, we'll stay in touch with regular updates on how your claim’s going.
