Step 1: Before you start

Before starting your claim, you can download your policy here
This will allow you to familiarise yourself with your cover before you start your claim.

You'll need all of these details if you're claiming for an accident:

  • The name and address of the person driving your car at the time
  • Your police incident number – if you have one
  • The registration numbers of any other cars involved
  • The name, address and insurance details of any other drivers involved
  • The name and address of any witnesses

We'll guide you through making a claim. You can store everything from receipts to phone numbers and upload photos of any damage.

Step 3: We'll take it from there

Once you've started your claim, we'll take care of it all as quickly as we can.

  • If you told us online or with our app, we'll call you within one working day to check the details and talk you through what happens next.
  • If your car has been damaged we'll put you in touch with an Allianz-approved repairer and let you know if you can get a courtesy car.
  • If you were involved in an accident with other people, we'll get in touch with them for you too.

And we'll give you regular updates on how your claim's going, so you know what to expect and when.
