Our Commercial Pricing team are at the forefront of using innovative data analysis and modelling tools, to deliver accurate and sustainable prices that enable us to better secure the future of our customers.

The team has responsibility across Allianz’s full suite of commercial products including mid corporate property and casualty, fleet and SME insurance. They deliver the core functions of pricing to support the business in its end to end pricing journey. 

These include:

  • Technical Modelling - producing an accurate view of ultimate risk cost through data driven analysis
  • Street Pricing - development of Price and pricing analytics to ensure we achieve our required financial result
  • Deployment - efficient and effective delivery of prices to customers through our IT systems
  • As one of the UK’s leading general insurers, with recent successes at the British Insurance Awards 2019 (winner of General Insurer and Commercial Lines Insurer of the Year), we are looking for talented individuals to join us in building our rapidly advancing pricing capability.
Senior Pricing Analyst

As a key member of the pricing team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of new pricing models plus supporting their use to steer the business. You will need to build strong relationships across the business to embed price to support the business strategy.  This will include delivering pricing improvements to market for both our online and underwriter traded products, plus driving activity to meet global pricing standards.

This role also has the opportunity to include line management responsibilities to support the development of a small number of analysts within the pricing team.

Senior Modelling Analyst

A Senior Modelling Analyst works across several of our portfolios and this role is responsible for the development and delivery of technical pricing. This role will include the development of pricing models and component based pricing in support of the business strategy, as well identifying and validating data requirements and modelling methodologies.  This role also has the opportunity to include line management responsibilities to support the development of a small number of analysts within the pricing modelling team

Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Analyst you’ll be in at the deep end, producing the analysis and models that underpin our commercial decisions which will directly influence our trading results. Using your skills in statistical analysis and data handling – working with ever bigger datasets using state-of-the-art pricing software – you will be trained in cutting-edge modelling techniques to design and develop the next generation of pricing algorithms. 

However, this is not just about crunching numbers. You will be joining an experienced, commercially driven Pricing team that is central to the delivery of the company strategy, supported by a unique global network of pricing experts and data scientists. There will be opportunities to work with our global teams and expert communities across Allianz Group.
