The scheme involves multiple rotations, each lasting around 6 months and will give you the opportunity to sit with the different teams and specialisms within Claims.
Part of your role will involve analysing and investigating claims and you will be given responsibility to make liability decisions and work out the best way to settle claims in the most cost-effective manner. To do this, you'll work alongside solicitors, claims investigators, loss adjusters, engineers and many other experts to ensure that claims are investigated efficiently and the correct decision is made as quickly as possible.
During each placement you will also work on a number of technical and operational projects so that you get varied experience, while developing a wide range of technical, commercial and leadership skills through industry-leading, hands-on training.
As part of the Claims graduate scheme you will also join the internal Allianz programme, Technical Leaders in Claims, which gives you exposure to technical managers within the company. Alongside mentors, you will work on projects with mentors and get a lot more insight into the claims function.
You’ll have the chance to take dedicated study days and the funding you need to successfully complete the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII).
