Over two years, you’ll complete four placements and work on a wide range of transformational business projects across several areas of IT. During this time you’ll be learning, developing your skills and helping to solve real business challenges through innovation - all with plenty of support from experienced managers and peers.
You’ll be able to see for yourself how your work adds value to the business, applying your newly-enhanced knowledge to positively impact and improve our future. By the end of the scheme you will have developed an understanding of project management, business analysis, information security, development and infrastructure management - and be fully prepared for a career in IT.
While primarily based in our Guildford head office, there will be exposure to, and potentially opportunities to work in other Allianz offices, including in India.
Our IT placement is not just for technical people. As well as technical IT roles, there are positions within the department catering for those thinking about a career in project management or business analysis.
The placement has been tailored to maximise the opportunities available to you and help you make the most of your year in industry. Being fully integrated into the IT team will give you real responsibility with the chance to add value to the company through the work that you deliver. You'll get genuine experience of what it's like working for a large global organisation.
Please note that we are currently not taking any applications to this scheme.
Allianz is committed to supporting students in their studies. You’ll undertake a great technical training programme aligned with your rotations and we’ll fully fund and support you through a professional qualification with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) where you’ll gain your Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII), giving you that all-important financial services knowledge.
You’ll have the opportunity to attend leadership and development programmes with your peers from across the business, as well as opportunities to meet and learn from colleagues across the Allianz Group. Your further steps with us will follow our IT Professional Development Framework which has been accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS).
