You can choose to do an internship in one of the following areas:

Underwriting within our Commercial division, Operations or Marketing & Distribution within our Retail division, or within our divisons Insurance Claims, Finance or Actuarial.

Criteria – All Schemes except Actuarial and Finance

  • On track for min 2:1 degree
  • Min 300 UCAS points (excl. AS Levels & General Studies) or equivalent
  • Valid work permit for permanent work in the UK
  • Good level of numerical ability and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Criteria - Actuarial

  • Grade 1st or 2.1
  • Valid work permit for permanent work in the UK
  • Min 340 UCAS points (excl. AS Levels & General Studies) or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths A min
  • GCSE English B min
  • A Level Maths A min
  • Course type: Maths, Accountancy & Finance, Economics, Engineering or Physics

Criteria – Finance

  • On track for min 2:1 degree
  • Min 300 UCAS points (excl. AS Levels & General Studies) or equivalent
  • Valid work permit for permanent work in the UK
  • GCSE Maths B min
  • GCSE English B min
  • A Level Maths (A minimum)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Course type: Accountancy & Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Maths or Physics

Summer Internship Dates

Our 2017 summer internships are open for a period of nine weeks and the details of the dates are given below.
