At Allianz we believe that claims handling is a core competency of an insurer. Our focus is on bringing together the key elements of a high quality claims service:
Claims START
Claims START, is a 24-hour, 365 days a year service from Allianz for customers to report all new motor insurance claims (including accident, theft, vandalism, or windscreen damage). Once your customer has notified claims START of the accident, an Approved Repairer will contact them to arrange repairs of the vehicle.

Household Claims Centre
Our Household Claims Centre staff will capture all necessary information over the telephone thus reducing the amount of paperwork for your customer to complete. Our emergency helpline service is available 24-hours, 354 days a year. We can offer immediate assistance in many situations including:
- Plumbing or drainage problems likely to cause flooding
- Failure of your gas and electrical supply
- Damage to your roof where damage to the inside of your home is likely
- Damage to your home, making it insecure or unsafe
- Leaking water or oil from your central heating
