Through our Community Support Programme, we aim to:
- Support charities and voluntary initiatives in the community that are
relevant to our business objectives and brand values; - Increase financial contributions through company donations, employee fundraising and payroll giving;
- Maximise contribution delivered through non-financial means, such as volunteering;
- Create lasting value for our community partners and employees through training and skills development;
- Raise our profile in local communities;
- Maximise the value of our partnerships, by measuring KPIs;
- We support charities and voluntary initiatives in the community at various levels. See our list of partners for more details.
We do not:
- Match fundraising by employees for charities other than our corporate charity partner;
- Pay for individual or team entry fees to participate in sporting events other than those organised for or by our corporate charity partner;
- Fund political or religious organisations, including local churches;
- Support non-UK based charities and organisations or UK based organisations whose work helps those outside the UK – with the exception of our established partnerships with CARE International, Earthwatch, World Wildlife Fund and Comic Relief;
- Pay for employees overseas trips and travel expenses to take part in fundraising events (possible exception includes if event is being organised
by Allianz).
