Our different business divisions provide support to a number of different charitable organisations.

The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust gives practical and financial support to 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law and helps them to develop key workplace skills. Since 1976 it has helped more than 600,000 young people.

Allianz Commercial has given £125,000 to the Prince’s Trust since 2006 to support its work.

Chance to Shine

Chance to Shine is the single biggest school sport development initiative ever undertaken in Britain. We recognise the power of cricket to help young people acquire important skills, values and attitudes for their lives.

Allianz was the first commercial sponsor of the Chance to Shine appeal and is committed to giving £1m over 7 years.

Jubilee Sailing Trust

The Jubilee Sailing Trust is a charity that brings people of all physical abilities together through the challenge of tall ship sailing.

As part of the Allianz Global Diversity initiative, we offer 5 ‘once in a lifetime’ places to Allianz Insurance employees each year to sail with the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

The Petplan Charitable Trust

Each year many thousands of Petplan customers give an optional £1.50 donation alongside their insurance premium to the Petplan Charitable Trust. Petplan also makes an annual donation.

The Petplan Charitable Trust has awarded over £5 million in grants since 1994. This money has supported all kinds of animal health and welfare charities including disease studies, welfare and education projects across the country.

Touraid

Touraid is a children's charity that establishes sustainable relationships between schools and rugby clubs in the UK with similar organisations around the globe that support disadvantaged children. Touraid sees rugby as the catalyst for these partnerships and the resulting educational, cultural and social benefits.

Allianz Insurance employees support the visiting team by assisting in their coaching sessions and taking them on visits in the UK.

Insurance Charities

The Insurance Charities give vital financial and practical support to past and present employees of the insurance industry, and their dependents, who are suffering financial hardship.

Allianz Insurance supports the Insurance Charities with an annual donation.
