Road travel reduced slightly in 2009, even with an increase in the total number of company cars. Due to the company car purchasing policy, the average emissions in the car fleet has reduced from an average of 220gCO2/km to 140gCO2/km in 4 years.

The significant reduction in air travel is due to a 17% reduction in travel to Munich and other international locations. An increase in video- and tele-conference has contributed to this reduction.
