Privacy and legal notice
If you proceed you agree that the following terms apply.
1) You are responsible for ensuring:
(a) Security of User IDs, which enable you to access the Allianz Motor Information website ("ACMI website")
(b) User IDs and security data are kept under lock and key in a secure place
(c) Your access to the ACMI website is restricted to those members of your staff who need access to input/amend any data to meet the requirements of the Motor Vehicles (Compulsory Insurance) (Information Centre and Compensation Body) Regulations 2003 ("the Regulations") - and the wider requirements of the Motor Insurers' Information Centre.
(d) That you only view, copy or otherwise process data on the Allianz MI website relating to your clients for purposes referred in these terms.
2) You will inform Allianz immediately if:
(a) Any breach of security or of any incident that might breach security of ACMI website has occured. Allianz may need to inform the MIIC.
(b) You gain access to data other than that referred to in (i)(d).
3) It is your responsibility to fulfil any obligations you may have under the Regulations. If you are unable to access the ACMI website, then under the Regulations you may be obliged to provide relevant data by another means.
4) Under the Regulations fines may be imposed for failure to provide data. Notification of such data is a condition of Allianz insurance policies and failure to notify such data may effect cover.

) You agree to supply accurate data in a timely fashion, making corrections where data is found to be invalid.

) Notification of data onto the ACMI website does not constitute proof of insurance or variation of any insurance cover or ensure that a claim will be paid.

) You agree to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. You confirm that you will give prior notification to your clients that:
data supplied to the ACMI website may be made available via the MIIC using the Motor Insurance Database (MID) to:
(a) The police to check insurance details.
(b) Persons with a valid claim in respect of a road traffic accident (including citizens of other countries) and their agents.
(c) Other insurers for handling claims incurred.
(d) The Motor Insurers' Bureau to facilitate its obligations to handle incurred claims.
(e) Other insurers or third party organisations for the purpose of investigating and administering fraud enquiries.
data supplied to the ACMI website may be respectively made available to the MIIC and used by Allianz for:
(f) The purposes of making and responding to 4th EU Directive/MIIC enquiries.
(g) Testing.
(h) Monitoring (i) the performance of the websites, (ii) the websites users as site providers in respect of their legal obligations, (iii) usage of the websites, (iv) for planning and research purposes.
data supplied to the ACMI website may be made available to:
(i) any agent of Allianz or MIIC for fulfilling the purposes of these terms.
(j) any auditor or regulator of Allianz or MIIC.
(k) Your personal details may be transferred to countries outside the EU. They will at all times be held securely and handled with the utmost care in accordance with all principles of the UK law.
8) You agree that:
(a) Allianz has the right to monitor all your activity on the ACMI website and to take appropriate action if security of data has been or may be compromised.
(b) you will ensure that reasonable measures to prevent the introduction of malicious software to the ACMI website will be in place on all your servers or workstations which are connected to the ACMI website.
(c) information security violations, loopholes and the like you discover in connection with these terms will be reported by you to Allianz's Information Security Manager immediately.
9) Allianz will endeavour to pass data to the MID via the MID Update website.
Data may be passed to and posted on the MID website exactly as submitted to the ACMI website. Data may be rejected by the ACMI website and/or MID because of validation controls.
10) Neither Allianz, its agents and suppliers, nor MIIC or its agents and suppliers shall have any liability to you:
(a) if the ACMI website or the MID Update website to which data will be passed are unavailable or
(b) there are errors outside of Allianz's or MIIC's control or
(c) in any other circumstances, whether in tort (civil wrong), contract or otherwise resulting or arising from the use or attempted use of viewing copying or other processing of data under or in relation to the ACMI website and through it the MID Update website save for personal injury or death caused by negligence.

) There are no implied obligations, warranties, or conditions undertaken by Allianz, MIIC, or Allianz's and MIIC's respective agents and suppliers that relate to data supplied to or processed by or held by the ACMI or MID Update website under these terms.

) There is no certainty that any message will remain confidential whilst being transmitted to or from ACMI or MID Update websites.

) Allianz may suspend or close its ACMI website without notice.

) Allianz and its logos are the registered trademarks in the UK and other countries. The copyright and the content and images in the ACMI website belong to Allianz or the images and content are used by Allianz with the permission of the copyright owner.

) The service on the ACMI website is available for UK residents only. The applicable law governing the contents and use of the ACMI website and any disputes arising from use of the ACMI website is English law and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Note that the ACMI website is not intended for use or distribution by a person in any country where such use or distribution of the ACMI website would be contrary to local laws or regulation.
