Vehicle schedule page
Schedule
If you have submitted your vehicle information to us in advance, then the current schedule displays a list of your vehicles currently on cover. If you have not submitted vehicle information in advance, there will be no vehicles displayed and you will need to enter each vehicle individually by using the add vehicle function.
If you have not supplied us with the ‘off date’, then the date will automatically default to your renewal date.
Adding a vehicle
To add a new vehicle, you first need to select the type of vehicle in the top left hand corner of the screen. Click on the down arrow and choose the appropriate type. Then type in the vehicle registration number (VRN) in the box below and click on the add vehicle button. This will take you to the add vehicle screen. For Private Cars and Commercial Vehicles, a search is made against an extract from the DVLA with details pre-populated in the vehicle detail fields. Please note that the extract is as up-to-date as the DVLA processing and that new vehicles will not be present for
six weeks. You have the facility to accept or reject the pre-populated data.
If you are adding a vehicle and the ‘on date’ is 14 days or more before the current date, then the following message will appear: ‘You are not compliant on this policy. This is a late notification of a vehicle change. You could be liable to a £5000 fine’. This is a warning message and will not stop you adding the vehicle. However, please be aware that under the policyholder legislation you are required by law to provide updates immediately (the Department for Transport have stated that they would accept 14 days as reasonable).
Amending a vehicle
To amend a vehicle, you need to select the vehicle details on the current schedule screen. You can select the vehicle by entering the VRN in the Search Vehicle field and clicking on Find Vehicle button. Alternatively, you can click on the registration number on the vehicle list. You will then be provided with the amend vehicle record page.
Deleting a vehicle
To delete a vehicle you can select the vehicle by entering the VRN on the search vehicle field or click on the vehicle on the vehicle list or by selecting the quick delete button on the right hand side of the vehicle schedule.
You can also view vehicles which are no longer on cover. To do this, you need to click on the browse vehicles off cover button on the left hand side of the screen.
To look at an individual vehicle in greater detail, you can simply click on the registration number on the vehicle table.
Quick delete function
Select the quick delete button on the far right of the vehicle schedule and a pop up box will appear. Enter the ‘off date’ for the vehicle and submit. This facility will allow you to quickly update a number of vehicles from your schedule.

Manage Locations
Please enter the location name you would like to add and then click on 'Add'.
To delete a specific location, please use the 'Delete' button for that location.
Likewise, to edit a location, click on the 'Edit' button for that location, make changes and then click on 'Save' in the pop-up box.
Search vehicle
Data can be searched by full or partial VRN data. By entering M* the site will provide all vehicles with a VRN starting with an M. This facility allows the user to move quickly to the required vehicles rather than paging through. The search criteria are determined by your requirements.
You can also sort the current vehicle schedule by any of the following schedule headers:
VRN
Make
Model
On date
Off date
Cover
Type
You can always return to the current vehicle schedule by selecting Vehicle Schedule on the navigation bar found on the left hand side of the page.
Split by location
This is an optional function and has been designed to assist clients with subsidiary companies or those who would like to record their vehicles under different headings or locations. Locations can be anything that enables you to manage effectively your vehicle data from different companies, to depots to departments as specified and entered by you, up to a maximum of 50 characters and 100 locations. When you enter vehicle data you will be asked to enter the appropriate location code. You will need to individually enter the location codes to all vehicles currently entered on the website.
If you do not need this facility then no action is required.
You can select or remove this option at anytime, however, we would recommend you read the note below on Location code no longer required before you take this action.
If you wish to use this facility, select the split button and this will take you through to the next screen where you can enter the names of your locations.
Location code no longer required
To remove the location code option, return to MID home on the left menu.
Print current schedule
Requests using the left menu will provide all current vehicles. Requests using the button in the middle of the screen will print the vehicles displayed on the page only. Please select landscape on your printer options before proceeding to print. Select back at the top of the screen to return to the vehicle schedule.
Download current schedule
Requests using the left menu will provide all current vehicles. Requests using the button in the middle of the screen will print the vehicles displayed on the page only. This facility provides you with a download in .XLS format and the process time will vary depending on the size of the schedule. For a 2500 vehicle schedule the process can take one minute to complete. Please be patience whilst the system deals with your request. You will be able to monitor progress by viewing the green bars on the bottom of the screen.
Select download current schedule and a pop-up box headed file download will appear. Choose to open or save a copy of the current schedule as required.
Selecting open displays the schedule of the vehicles in a spreadsheet.
Selecting save gives you a save as dialog box that asks for the location on your computer to save the schedule. You can then open the file from that location.
Manage your Account
Select from the left hand menu bar.

This facility allows you to manage your access to the ACMID website.
You can update the following:
Name
Telephone number
Email address
Company position
Change your password
Change memorable data
Request or revoke update access
Request or revoke compare and amend access
To amend your personal details, type in the required changes and select the update button at the bottom of the screen.
Change password

This facility allows you to change your password at any time. Select the option from the menu bar on the left hand side. Enter your existing password and your new password twice. Passwords must be a minimum of six characters, contain at least one number and be different from the login name. Please remember that your password is case sensitive.
Update access
You can request or revoke the access to update vehicle data. Update access can only be provided to a client or a broker. It is not possible for both parties to have update access at the same time. To change update access, one party must revoke and then the other party can request access.
When a client or a broker has update access, all users for that group will have the same access. Therefore, when a client is updating all client users will have update access and a broker will have view only access and vice versa.
Compare and amend
This is an optional function and has been designed to assist clients who have multiple vehicle schedules. The client must provide a daily extract of their complete vehicle schedule and log onto the website and attach the spreadsheet. The website compares this to the current schedule and makes the necessary changes. Vehicles not present will be taken off cover effective from the previous day. A separate manual is available to clients using this function.
Add help

This screen requests details in respect of the vehicle to be added. It is vital that this information is completed accurately and that all fields are input. The amount of information required will vary according to the vehicle type that you have selected.
For private cars and commercial vehicles, a search is made against an extract from the DVLA with details pre-populated in the vehicle fields. Please note that the extract is as up to date as the DVLA processing and that new vehicles details will not be present for six weeks. You will have the facility to accept or reject the pre-populated data.
The field relating to cover provides a drop down option. Click on the arrow and select the appropriate cover.
You are also provided with a drop down option for the road registered indicator. This relates to a question as to whether the vehicle is registered for use on the road and is defaulted to yes. If the vehicle is not road registered, which means the vehicle has not been registered with the DVLA (not the same as taxed) then please select no. In this case, the vehicle data will not be submitted to the Motor Insurance Database.
If the date the vehicle is to be taken off cover is known, click on the button to select the appropriate date. If the vehicle is a permanent addition (the ‘off date’ is not known) then leave this blank. We will submit the information to the Motor Insurance Database with the ‘off date’ as your renewal date. This will be automatically updated once your policy is renewed.
Click on the submit button to send details of the additional vehicle to us.
If location set up has been selected, you must enter a location code for every vehicle entered or amend. By clicking on the arrow, a drop down box will display all the locations set up and you can select from the list.
To change the location of a vehicle, simply enter amend and change location to the new code (no history will be held). If you require history of the location code of a vehicle you will need to delete the vehicle and then add with the new location and dates.
Amend Help
The registration number, ‘date on’ and the vehicle type fields cannot be amended. You can make single or multiple changes to all the other vehicle information (except when you are changing the ‘off date’). When making a change, you must enter an effective date (i.e. the date from which you want the change to take place).
Changing the ‘date off’ of a vehicle constitutes one transaction. This means that you cannot change the ‘date off’ and other vehicle information, such as cover or make, at the same time. To change other vehicle information after changing the ‘date off’, you will need to reselect the vehicle record and make the appropriate other changes, making sure to enter the effective date.
To delete a vehicle, click the button alongside ‘date off’ and choose the appropriate date. You cannot enter an effective date at the same time. This is because the effective date would be the same as the ‘date off’. Click button to submit.
The ‘date on’ and registration number fields cannot be amended. If you have mis-keyed the registration number entered a vehicle using the wrong ‘on date’, then you need to delete the vehicle by changing the ‘date off’ to equal the ‘date on’. A pop up box will appear asking: ‘Is this a single day addition?’ By entering no the vehicle will be marked as an error and removed from the schedule. Then re-add the vehicle with the correct on date or registration.
If you are making a change to a vehicle, but using a future effective date, then please note that as soon as you click on submit this change will be shown. Our system has been built so that the user can always view the changes that have been keyed in. For the purpose of Allianz’s records, however, the change will only come into force, once the effective date has been reached.
If location set up has been selected, you must enter a location code for every vehicle entered or amended. By clicking on the arrow a drop down box will display all the locations set up and you can select from the list.
To change the location of a vehicle, simply enter amend and change location to the new code (no history will be held). If you require history for a location code of a vehicle you will need to delete the vehicle and then add with the new location and dates.
If you are amending or taking a vehicle off cover and the effective date of the change is 14 days or more before the current date, then the following message will appear: ‘You are not compliant on this policy. This is a late notification of a vehicle change. You could be liable to a £5000 fine’. This is a warning message and will not stop the change taking place. However, please be aware that under the policyholder legislation you are required by law to provide updates immediately (Department for Transport have stated that they would accept 14 days as reasonable).
