FAQs

1. What are the minimum educational requirements?

  • Have or expect to have a 2:1 degree or MSc qualification
  • Have 300 UCAS Points
  • Have the equivalent of a ‘B’ grade or above in GCSE English and Maths

2. Do I need a work permit to apply?
Yes, you must be eligible to work in the UK.

3. Do I need work experience?
Relevant work experience is beneficial; however it is not essential that you have completed a placement as part of your degree.

4. Do I need a background in Insurance?
Although having a background in insurance would be beneficial, it is not necessary as this will be acquired through your placements, your induction week and studying for a CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification.

5. What help do you provide for successful applicants that need to relocate to the Guildford area?
The company currently provides a location allowance for all employees working at Guildford Head Office. We will also put you in contact with current graduates who have relocated and are able to help you with local information, estate agents etc.

6. What salary do you offer?
We offer a competitive salary which is regularly benchmarked against our competitors. The salary is also reviewed at six month intervals throughout the scheme. We also offer a location allowance (for employees working in Guildford).

7. What benefits do you offer?
