I am delighted and proud to be leading Allianz Cornhill as the company celebrates its centenary in 2005.

Allianz Cornhill has traded successfully and grown steadily for 100 years by focusing on the insurance business. In so doing, we have been able to take each forward step in our evolution with confidence, knowing that our core skills of underwriting and claims handling would provide a sound platform for success.

During 2005, we will celebrate our centenary whilst at the same time keeping our focus firmly on building Allianz Cornhill’s future. Developing a sustainable platform for future generations of customers, employees and business partners will continue to be the principal aim of all of us here at Allianz Cornhill.

The first page in the next chapter of the company’s history has already been turned.
